Dinners can be paid for by the week or half term. The cost of a school dinner is £2.80 per day. Provision is also made for children to eat packed lunches in the hall under supervision. The majority of family holidays taken during term time will be categorised as an unauthorised absence. If you take them on holiday during term-time your child may miss important tests or exams. Missing school upsets children’s education and may affect their relationships within the school. It is the legal duty of parents and carers to ensure their child’s regular attendance at school. Keeping your children off school during term should be avoided if possible.
